News: Rihanna Hospitalized

Rihanna is currently hooked up to an IV drip at a hospital in Sweden and has canceled a performance scheduled for tonight blaming the whole thing on a case of the flu.

Rihanna was scheduled to perform in Malmö, Sweden but a rep for Live Nation claims the show has been canceled because the singer is "not in condition to conduct the concert."

Rihanna tweeted an apology an hour ago, writing, "Sorry Malmo!" -- attaching a picture of her arm with tubes coming out of it

The singer also released a statement saying, "I am sorry to everyone who was coming out to my show in Malmo Switzerland. I was so excited to perform for you all."

She adds, "It would have been a great time…so much better than being sick with the flu, ugh! I'm really disappointed I couldn't be there."

News: Kim Kardashian Files For Divorce

Kim  Kardashian filed for divorce this morning, after 72 days of being married to Kris Humphries TMZ  learned. She will not seek an annulment. Kim cites “irreconcilable differences.”
We’re told the date of separation is listed as today, Oct. 31, 2011. Kim has hired Laura Wasser, who has repped the likes of Britney Spears, Maria Shriver, Angelina Jolie, Ryan Reynolds etc.

News: Terrell Owens Can't Afford Child Support Payments

Times are tough for Terrell Owens so much so the currently former NFL star is asking a judge to lower his child support payments TMZ learned.

Owens, who is currently not an NFL roster, wants to reduce the payments he's making for a son he shares with baby mama Monique Reynolds because, according to his rep, he's simply not getting paid these days.

The rep says Owens wants to make the payments a little more reasonable, adding, "His child support payments should mirror his income today and not be based on his income from over four years ago."

Owens was due in court in Northern California for child support modification hearing on October 24, but didn't show up. His rep says his lawyers tried to reschedule, but lawyers for Reynolds refused.

News: Soulja Boy Claims Other Rappers Copy His Style

In an interview with Billboard, rapper Soulja Boy revealed an upcoming collaboration with Drake and other popular rappers. He also claimed that hip-hop artists are copying his style and making it harder for him to get recognition. 


" Me and Drizzy. We definitely going to drop something. Definitely Busta Rhymes, Lil B," Soulja Boy said. "I mean there's artists out there, but its like, shit got dry in the last few years. Niggas be trying to sound like me and shit. I listen to a hit, its like 'Okay it's a hit, but it sounds like me.'"




"Every time I do something they copy it," he said about the competition. "I mean its cool, it makes me bigger and shit. But it's just like… Once you do so much copying, I can't do me then."


His last album, The DeAndre Way, failed to impress with a debut on Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart at No. 18 and only dropping from there. His next album will drop in early 2012.


"I just want to find a way to make music better and be innovative. I'm confident. I'm very confident," Soulja Boy said. "If I got to be the Steve Jobs of the fuckin' music industry then so be it."

Eva Longoria may have her eye on a new baller. The actress shared a flirty dinner with LA Lakers forward Matt Barnes in New York.A witness said “There was definitely a spark between Eva and Matt. They weren’t seated next to each other, but you could tell there was something between them. There was a little hand-holding over the table and a lot of eye contact.”

News: Kreayshawn Vs. Gangsta Boo

 

 

Gangsta Boo likened the "Gucci Gucci" rapper to a "wigger" and told Sway that the up and comer reminds her of a character from the 1997 Halle Berry comedy "B.A.P.S." Although she gave respect to Kreayshawn, the Three 6 Mafiia co-founder said she was concerned about Kreay's "ghetto" image.

 

Shortly after Boo's appearance on the live stream, Kreayshawn took to Twitter, sending out a few mysterious tweets that many fans took as a dig at the rapper. "Hahahah lonely hungry bitch don't deserve a mention. my local news caster got more followers then on you. Go play with ya kids hoe!"
She followed that up with another tweet: "Hope them shirts you selling at least paying your rent! Happy I can contribute."

Kreayshawn was back on Twitter clearing the air, with a tweet to the Memphis MC." @GangstaBooQOM I wasn't talkin bout you. You know how the media be. Shit you was one my fav. female rappers! You can say what you want," she wrote.

Kreay insisted those tweets weren't directed at Gangsta Boo when MTV News spoke to her on Friday afternoon.
"I was just like kind of shocked because I'm a fan of Gangsta Boo and as a female, she was one of the females in the game that inspired me to rap," she said of the comments made about her on "RapFix Live." When I heard it I was like, 'What? Gangsta Boo? This sucks.' To hear that from somebody that

A photographer was hit by actress Demi Moore yesterday and  has filed a battery report about the incident.

Law enforcement sources told TMZ that the photographer claims Moore struck him as he tried to shoot her yesterday. We're told it's unclear where Moore allegedly struck the photog, but he displayed no visible injuries.

Judging from the photos of the incident it appears the pap was way too close and in her face.

In a recent interview with GlobalGrind, the hip hop mogul says he doubts Lil Wayne actually sold almost a million in a week for his latest effort, Tha Carter IV.

"To be honest with you, the Lil Wayne sales are a little suspect to me. Because it was trending 600,000 pieces that week. And they didn’t do a million copies, it was like 900,000."

While 50 believes that Tha Carter III deserved the acclaim it received, he also maintains "the last one that just came out, those numbers are funny."

News: "Real World" Star Suing MTV

Tonya a former MTV "Real World" cast member claims male members acted like animals during production, in one case raping her with a toothbrush this according to a new lawsuit obtained by TMZ.

Tonya Cooley filed the suit against MTV, Bunim/Murray Productions, Kenneth Santucci, Evan Starkman and others claiming the two guys "took another male participant's toothbrush and rubbed the toothbrush around plaintiff's genitals, including rubbing her labia and inserting the toothbrush into plaintiff's vagina." 

Cooley says it all happened while she was passed out cold ... and cameras were rolling. Cooley says producers not only knew about the rape, they even replaced the toothbrush, but never told her what happened.

The suit also claims female cast members were stripped of their bathing suits and that male cast members were encouraged by producers to "inappropriately touch female cast members' bodies, including in intimate areas."

Cooley alleges she and other cast members reported incidents of sexual abuse, but show honchos turned a blind eye.

Cooley claims she was later booted from the show after slapping a cast member.  She says nothing happened to the men who allegedly raped her.

Cooley is suing for unspecified damages.

News: MTV's "Teen Mom" Jenelle Evans Car Crash

"Teen Mom" star Jenelle Evans was rushed to a hospital in North Carolina earlier today after the MTV reality star crashed her SUV into a light pole, while her 2-year-old son was in the car.

Evans, her son and a female passenger were all transported to a nearby hospital for minor injuries. Evans was driving the car and her son was in a car seat in the back.

Cops told TMZ there was no indication that drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash but police are investigating

News: Big Sean Sex Abuse Case Charges Dropped

Big Sean will not be charged with sexually assaulting an underage girl back in August but he's not entirely in the clear.

He was arrested in August during a concert in Buffalo, NY after a 17yr old girl told police the rapper and his friend had sexually assaulted her.

Big Sean whose real name is Sean Michael Anderson was charged with 3rd degree sex abuse, forcible touching and 2nd degree unlawful imprisonment.

Prosecutors agreed to drop the first two charges on the condition that Big Sean plead guilty to misdemeanor unlawful imprisonment which carries a $750 fine.

Big Sean's lawyer Scott Leemon says the rapper has accepted the terms and has paid the fine but still insists "he did not engage in any type of sexual misconduct."

For the second year in a row, Michael Jackson , has topped Forbes magazine's list of top-earning dead celebrities. The King of Pop, who died at age 50 in June 2009, earned an estimated $170 million over the past year, making him the second-highest earning pop star this year.

The megabucks came in from sales of his music, as well as his stake in the lucrative Sony/ATV catalog, and while impressive, was a big step down from the $275 million the Jackson estate earned in the year after the singer's death. Songwriters who own their work tend to place high on the Forbes list because their catalog sales often remain strong after their death, one of the reasons Jackson's posthumous career has been so lucrative.

Lil Wayne is holding fast to his dream of retiring by age 35. The Young Money rapper said he'd like to retire by then and in the November issue of GQ,

“Basically, I have been doing this for eighteen years. That's reason number one. I have accomplished all that I have set out to accomplish and more," he says. "Also, I have a label, and I've only put out Drake and Nicki Minaj. I have a lot more work to do, and it'd be selfish to not focus on being the boss and focus on their projects.”

News: Jim Jones Jumped Last Night?

Word on the streets of Harlem this morning is that Jim Jones that got jumped last night.

According Power 105.1 FM’s Angela Yee, several sources have reported that Jim was jumped in Harlem. While the details are still sketchy, witnesses have stated that Jim was leaving a studio session when he got into a verbal confrontation with a man believed to be the boyfriend of Jim's former manager and "Love & HipHop" co-star Yandy Smith.

Shortly after the argument began, Jim was ambushed by a group of guys who chased him through the projects, eventually catching up to him and beating him.

While he has yet to speak on the alleged altercation, Angela Yee reports sources close to Jim say he is convinced that his ambush was orchestrated by Yandy.

With the success of his Billionaire Boys Club and Ice Cream lines, it only makes sense that Pharrell is extending his burgeoning empire in new directions.

Skateboard P recently revealed to WWD that he plans on launching Billionaire Girls Club by spring 2013. The producer-singer-turned-designer hinted that he may eventually expand so-called "streetwear" at some point.

The 38yr old also said he's working on a new book, Places & Spaces I’ve Been. He's writing the book with designer Ambra Medda, co-founder/director of Design Miami and Design Miami/Basel and host of the recent Cooper-Hewitt National Design Awards, where Pharrell was a presenter.
In the meantime, Pharrell is keeping busy with plans to launch new BBC locations in China, as well as a collaboration with Ivy League’s former creative director Mark McNairy on shoes to be released next February.

News: Minnesota Viking Chris Cook Arrested For Domestic Violence

Minnesota Vikings cornerback Chris Cook was arrested early this morning and charged with domestic battery.

Cook was busted by police in Eden Prairie after a neighbor called 911 to report people across the street yelling and screaming. He was arrested without incident.

Cook still in custody and in danger of missing tomorrow's game against the Green Bay Packers. He was scheduled to start.

Back in March, Cook was arrested on suspicion of brandishing a gun during a fight with another man. He was acquitted in a bench trial in May

“Basketball Wives” and “Love & Hip-Hop” show women living glamorous lifestyles they didn’t work to get it, they inherited it. When I joined I was very specific that there would be no shots of my boyfriend, just me as a professional. I care about Jim’s happiness. His mother can make her own decisions with Chrissy because that’s his mom, but he and I choose to work together, we don’t have to. It got to a point where he wouldn’t answer my phone calls if she was in the house and we had business to do. He’s doing himself a disservice. I’m not trying to stop your money because the b***h doesn’t like me.

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Taylor Armstrong has had quite a turbulent year, but her troubles may not be over just yet.  Taylor has been fired from the Housewives reality show.
A source says that she was "kicked off" after her costars "complained to producers that Taylor was constantly trying to steal the show." 
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars supposedly felt she "alienated the other Housewives with her nonstop ploys for pity and attention before the tragedy."
The ladies supposedly felt Taylor turned it into her own personal therapy show because she frequently cried and complained about her life" when the wives were together. 
A source at E! News confirmed that Taylor hasn't been kicked off the show

The Kardashian's are telling friends they read Michelle's new interview with iVillage  in which she said, "Barack really thinks some of the Kardashians when they watch that stuff , he doesn't like that as much."

The Kardashians were "surprised" by the news because Obama personally told Khloe he thought "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" was a "great show" when they met last year.

In fact, the Kardashians believe Sasha and Malia could actually LEARN something from the show because it features girls in real life situations facing real life problems health, relationships..
