Chris Brown Got Beat Up

Chris Brown sustained a nasty gash on his chin from getting hit with a bottle. After his entourage got into it with Drake's entourage.

NYPD confirmed that both crews got into a fight at WIP nightclub and 5 people were injured in the melee.

No critical injuries just bumps, bruises and lacerations. No arrests were made.

After the fight, Brown tweeted a photo of his injury along with the message, "How u party wit rich niggas that hate? Lol... Throwing bottles like girls? #shameonya!."

The two started throwing blows and bottles over Rihanna, who both have dated.

Drake flashed his middle finger, engaged in serious trash talk, minutes before the all out brawl with Chris Brown, according to multiple witnesses in the club.

Drake gave the middle finger to one of Chris' bodyguards and shouted "I'm about to go whoop that ass!" Chris' entourage then returned fire with a few hand gestures of their own.

Drake felt disrespected

Drake got loud and shouted at Chris ... "You be on that ho shit on Twitter nigga" -- a clear reference to a recent Twitter war between Chris, Drake, and Meek all over who's sleeping with Rihanna.

Chris' security guards got irate, pushing and shoving began between Meek, Juelz and Chris' posse and you know the rest.

UPDATE:

TMZ obtained a photo of Chris Brown taken seconds before he got clocked with a champagne bottle in a brawl with Drake's people and he looked totally oblivious to the violence about to erupt.

Chris is shirtless and holding a bottle of Ace of Spades champagne surrounded by fans, friends and his bodyguard, Big Pat, who ended up hospitalized  with a massigve gash on his head.

Drake and Chris had been jawing at each other leading up to the brawl

They also have pics of Drake with Juelz Santana standing next to him. Meek Mill was at Drakes side and eventually tussled with Chris and his crew.

NYPD officers have spoken to Chris, Drake and their attorneys. Neither has been named a suspect in the beatdown.
