Michelle Williams' is going to try another solo career attempt.
The former Destiny's Child star announced yesterday that she's signed a new record deal with the gospel music label Light Records via eOne.
Williams has released two gospel albums previously, 2002's "Heart to Yours" and 2004's "Do You Know". Her most recent album, "Unexpected", was a pop-& dance album.
"I'm so excited about this new venture! I've accepted what my purpose is...I have peace about it!" Michelle wrote in a tweet. In a separate press release, she said she was honored to join Light Records.
Williams' first album for Light Records is expected in January 2013
