Chad Ochocinco is officially unemployed because the New England Patriots just released the famous wide receiver.
The Patriots spent all day today trying to trade him but no one wanted him, so they release him instead. He is now a free agent.
He parted with the Bengals in 2011 and was traded to the Pats last July.
He caught just 15 passes for 276 yards and a touchdown in his only season with the New England franchise. He was paid $5.75 million for the season.
