After being fired from the U.S. edition, Nicole Scherzinger will be the latest judge on the UK's original "X Factor."
"I'm so excited to join the UK X Factor family," she tweeted on Friday. "It's where I got my start, so it feels great to come full circle. I can't wait to see what talent the UK has to offer and to help inspire and bring out the best in these artists."
The UK series will air its new season in August.
Scherzinger helped launch the show's U.S. edition alongside Paula Abdul, Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid last fall. Britney Spears and Demi Lovato took over her and Paula Abduls spots.
