She's planning on running for Mayor, she's using Kanye for ratings for her reality show, and now she want's her own sitcom.
Kim Kardashian wants to branch out from reality TV to become a sitcom star.
She's in the early stages of developing her own scripted half-hour comedy series.
“Kim wants to move beyond reality TV and become a comedy actress,” says a source.
Kim’s desire to move on to her own show comes after a number of appearances away from her family and E! She popped up on a live episode of NBC’s “30 Rock” Thursday, playing herself in two scenes, and tweeted afterward: “Anyone see 30 Rock tonight??? I had a blast!!!! Love this show!” Jon Hamm, Paul McCartney, Amy Poehler and Jimmy Fallon also made cameos.
She played herself on an episode of Tim Allen’s ABC sitcom “Last Man Standing” in February. And she’ll play a character in Tyler Perry’s upcoming movie, “The Marriage Counselor,” opposite Vanessa Williams and Jurnee Smollett.
It’s unclear who’ll produce Kim’s proposed sitcom, but sources speculate it could be “Kardashians” partner Ryan Seacrest.

Los Angeles Lakers Jordan Hill has just been charged with felony assault for allegedly choking a family member during an altercation in Texas
The charge was filed by the Harris County District Attorney in Houston. It's unclear whom Hill is accused of attacking.
If convicted, Hill faces up to 10 years in prison.
Jordan was recently traded to the Lakers from Houston in exchange for Derek Fisher and has become a key member of the team.
"Basketball Wives" producers are taking their feud with cast member Jennifer Williams to the next level. They are currently in talks to file a lawsuit against Jennifer for publicly trashing the show.
The producers of VH1's hit series were upset after Jennifer filed a lawsuit against fellow cast member Evelyn Lozada's assistant Nia Crooks slapped Williams in the face.
Producers are ready to take their own legal action after Williams went on a media rampage and blasted the show for portraying African-American women negatively.
Producers feel Williams' show bashing is in violation of her contract which forbids cast members from doing any media appearances or press without approval, or speaking negatively about the show.
Who's side are you on?
Lamar is determined to make a comeback and he feels he should focus on only one project. Lamar will be living in L.A. full-time and he's hired trainers to help him get his game back.
According to sources, Khloe and Lamar will make occasional appearances on the other reality shows "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" but this season it will be all about Kanye.

After 15 years of dominating popular music, Usher still knows how to think ahead of the game without losing himself, his fans, or his quality of music. Usher had a listening event for his upcoming seventh studio album, "Looking For Myself," at NYC's Daryl Roth Theater.
Every audience member, including Justin Bieber, stood for the entire time and shuffled around the floor at different times in order to soak in the seamless set changes and every unique moment of the show to the fullest, from Usher running on an elevated treadmill to members of the Fuerza Bruta cast "swimming" on Plexiglass above the heads of the audience. The R&B singer took full advantage of this experience to get personal with his fans, as the tracks for his new album acted as the soundtrack for the evening.
Here is the full list of tracks performed from "Looking For Myself":
"Looking 4 Myself"
"Climax (Kaskade Remix)"
"I Care 4 U"
"Can't Stop, Won't Stop"
Just months after getting engaged to his baby mama, NBA star Gilbert Arenas decided he wants to drop his lawsuit over her reality show "Basketball Wives: LA" but with one catch, he can bring it back any time he sees fit.
The Grizzlies star filed a suit over the VH1 series which featured Laura Govan claiming the show and his ex had no right to make money using his image without his permission.
Now he is asking the court to dismiss the suit coincidentally after his ex officially became his fiancée. But Arenas still wants to keep his right to bring it back whenever he wants, in case he feels exploited again or if they break up again.
Shed Media have fired back urging the court to dismiss the case permanently
A judge has yet to rule on the motions and Arenas has yet to rule on whether his fiancée can keep that title.

DJ Funkmaster Flex debuted a remix of Wale's "Slight Work" on his WQHT (Hot 97) New York radio show. The remix, of Wale's fourth charting single from sophomore album "Ambition," features Maybach rapper Meek Mill, Sean " Diddy" Combs," French Montana and Ma$e, marking the first appearance of the Harlem rapper born Mason Betha on record since 2009. Speaking to Flex during an on-air call following the remix's debut, Ma$e didn't address rumors about him possibly signing with Warner Bros. imprint Maybach.
According to French Montana, Ma$e is serving as an A&R representative on Montana's forthcoming Bad Boy debut, "Excuse My French," as well as appearing on the remix of Montana's "Everything's a Go." "I'm not sure what kind of decisions he's going to make," Montana says, "[but] I would love to see him in my camp."
Shaunie and Tami both sat down for interviews this week to respond to all of the negativity surrounding the show. In an interview with Sister 2 sister magazine, Tami says that if anyone is to blame for their childish antics and how they are being portrayed on the show, it’s should be the producers of the show.
‘[...] Call out VH1 because I will join that battle. Why call for several people to be unemployed that really have nothing to do with the creative process?
“I come with my storyline and things that I want to introduce and low and behold what they want to show are those dramatic moments. There is more to us. I have thought about leaving, I would love to see a season 5 where VH1 and Shed Media are called out to show more positive things that we’re doing and show us how we are 90 percent of the time, instead of how we are 10 percent of the time. I would love to see the brand in and of itself go out on a more positive note. What they are seeing is a part of my personality. I’m not trying to take back my actions, but that’s not who I am all the time.
When asked about the recent fight involving Jennifer and Evelyn and her assistant Nia, Tami says that she doesn’t feel like it is her place to point fingers, however, she does think that Evelyn needs to change.
I can’t judge Evelyn, She has to work toward change. People don’t give us the benefit of the doubt or take that into consideration. Did Evelyn need to run over the table? Maybe not. Did Nia have to go over and slap Jennifer? Maybe not. I still don’t believe that warrants this big all-out movement against women who are really just showing our lives.
Meanwhile, in an interview with Hip Hollywood, Shaunie says that she doesn’t think that Evelyn’s behavior towards Jennifer this season could be considered bullying:
"Sometimes It can be a bit of bullying going on because of the personalities being a lot stronger, you know like Evelyn’s personality is a lot stronger than Jen’s, so it does seem like its bullying but I don’t think Jen would think she’s bullied. I don’t think she would want to take that role of being bullied because I think she is strong in her own way. It’s just a different way of dealing with it.
People are like ‘Why do you let people say this and that?’ They are grown women but at the same time I will say, ‘You really need to bring that down like 17 notches like I don’t see why you need to come in at 50! You need to come in at like 13. Lets talk it out, let’s use our words’ , but it never ever works! Never works!"
What do you think?
Looks like Kim Zolciak and NeNe Leakes wont be burying the hatchet anytime soon.
Kim made her feelings perfectly clear when it comes to NeNe.
"She's really changed, and she's not funny to me anywhere, She used to be really funny."
"She's not funny to many of us either, it's more like mean-spirited," Williams said in agreement.
Kim went on to explain what she feels the root of the problem is with her outspoken costar and why she believes they won't be reconciling anytime soon.
"I think the problem with NeNe honestly is that Nene doesn't have the tools to communicate effectively," she explained. "And if NeNe could really sit there and talk to me and communicate ... Like, people get in arguments with my girlfriends and you disagree, but you can't get loud and violent, that's a problem.
"If she had the tools to communicate effectively and kind of work through things, then there's a possibility that I'd sit down and have a conversation."
Kim shared that she is still waiting to hear from Bravo as to whether there will be a fifth season of the Real Housewives of Atlanta, but in the meantime she has plenty to keep her busy!
The actress recently wrote an opinion piece for hellobeautiful.com about how women's health care is being manipulated by the candidates vying for the presidency this year and how a close friend passed away because she couldn't receive the treatment she needed to save her life.
"I am going to do something that most people in my position don’t do often tell you my age. I am 39 years old. I am at an age where I realize that life isn’t always fair and that unlike fairy tales, life doesn’t always have a happy ending."
Her close friend was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer at 32, but lost her battle with the disease two years ago. Her friend, Kristen, was under a health care plan that wouldn't provide the treatment that she needed.
"Every year millions of women just like Kristen face choices between treatment and paying their bills. The costs associated with healthy living cause many to put off screenings and other preventive care let alone the treatments that may follow a cancer diagnosis."
Union applauds President Barack Obama's Affordable Care Act, saying Republican candidates want to take women's health backwards instead of allowing women to make their own decisions.
"Too many Americans don’t get the preventive health care they need to stay healthy because of cost. President Obama’s health insurance reform law expands access to important cancer prevention tools, saving and adding years to women’s lives, and eliminating difficult choices that women like Kristen face every year," Union writes. "In Kristen’s name, I am asking politicians to stop playing politics with our health. Kristen knew that women just like her are saved because of these screenings and prevention tools — it’s that simple. This isn’t about politics, it’s about saving lives and protecting women’s health."
What's your take?
Star Jones is the latest celebrity to take her issues with “Basketball Wives” to Twitter, and she’s calling on other high profile Black women to take a stand against the show.
The former “The View” co-host used the social media site as a platform to share her outrage over the depiction of Black women that the show offers.
“It may be ‘comfortable’ to be quiet when women of color slap the crap out of each other & run across tables barefoot, but #ENOUGHisENOUGH,” wrote Star, who is apparently tired of talking about the issue and ready to do something about it.
“About to put together a group of sisters to finally ‘tell the truth’ about the image of women of color in the media,” wrote Star.
The hit VH1 show is known for its knockdown, drag-out altercations that mostly involve minority women, but Star specifically responded to the most recent incident in which Jennifer Williams was slapped in the face.
Many of her co-stars and fans of the show questioned Jennifer’s decision to handle the issue in a court of law, instead of with her fists.
“And the thought that the woman from #BBW who was smacked doesn't have the RIGHT to file assault charges is LUDICROUS! You NEVER give up your right not to have your ‘person’ intentionally assaulted unless you are participating in an agreed physical activity,” wrote the attorney.
Star didn’t just take aim at “Basketball Wives,” though. She also had a little something to say about hip-hop.
“Then we have music filled with misogyny, self-hate & WOMEN calling THEMSELVES Bs and Hs & white rappers are using the N word,” she wrote.
Star said her motivation for blasting “Basketball Wives” wasn’t to knock the stars’ hustles. She just thinks young sisters need better examples.
“…little black girls deserve more than what we're giving! It sickens me @lov3lylina85 when young sis think that behavior is acceptable. U can't get a REAL JOB acting like an animal,” said Star.
While executive producer Shaunie O’Neal promised that the series would be more positive and show a more balanced view of the women, so far this season, it’s been more of the same.
Star’s friend Sherri Shepherd has already spoken out against the show several times, and Star wants more women to take a stand.
“I'm asking all my high profile, platform having conscientious sisters who STAND FOR SOMETHING to just say #ENOUGHisENOUGH & call folk out! Be mad. But think about what I said. WE ARE BETTER than that. You're either part of the problem or part of the solution.”
Star Jones sit down somewhere ...#Thirsty for attention

After years of rumors and false starts, the Lil Wayne/Juelz Santana collaboration album is officially dead.
In a recent interview with MTV News, Wayne confirmed that he has moved on from the album, "I Can't Feel My Face", revealing that many of the songs originally planned for the album have now been reclaimed for a new project of his own.
"I actually got at Juelz when I got out of jail and told him, 'Man, I think it's time we really capitalize on that,'" he said. "Now, he can't work how he wants to work because they shut down his studio. I sent him some music and he didn't send them back in the time-fashion that I work. I started putting extra verses on those songs and I've moved on."
Wayne said he would use the accumulated material for a follow up to his 2010 album I Am Not a Human Being.
"Now what probably would've been "I Can't Feel My Face", has now turned into "I Am Not a Human Being II," he said.

Dawn Richard of Danity Kane and Diddy Dirty Money fame recently sat down with Regard magazine and chatted about her musical evolution for the publication's April/May issue. The 28-year-old singer flaunts a few summer breezy styles while she opens up about Danity Kane's breakup and what it was like to work with Diddy.
"There were no drawbacks. I didn't allow them," Richard says about the breakup of Danity Kane "When one chapter closes, you have to start a new one. For me, if you allow yourself to think there are drawbacks then there will be some. I decided that I would just go harder and find a way to stay dancing inside the music."
Harder meant sticking with Diddy and forming a new band, Diddy Dirty Money, with him and singer-songwriter Kalenna Harper, a move that she says allowed her to be innovative and grow as an artist without bounds even if for just one album, Last Train to Paris.
"I enjoyed the freedom to dream sonically and lyrically. It was less 'boxed,' more 'innovative' and that was the place where I dwelled. So, I was in my element. The edge. The rawness. The sound we created became a platform for others. Whether they admit it or not, we broke boundaries with that album," she says.
Eventually Richard decided to go off on her own and is now a solo artist about to debut her first album, which has a different sound than what listeners have come to expect from the artist. The inspiration for her Heart Trilogy EP has been her relationship with the music industry and realizing that not everyone is working towards her best interest.
"It isn't a different direction. It's a continued one. I've just progressed the sound I already had," Richard explains. "It shows growth, strategy, and creativity. Why would you ask a person to buy and believe in a brand that never works to be better? I want to challenge people to grow with me. I like pushing the limits. For this project, I chose to be me. And that in itself, is taking things in a different direction."
Pharrell Williams is set to release a hardcover coffee table book based on his conversations with those that have inspired him along with photos and stories about his successful career as a producer and rapper.
"Pharrell: Places and Spaces I've Been" will have contributions by Jay-Z, Anna Wintour, Kanye West, Nigo of A Bathing Ape, artist Takashi Murakami and others.
Rizzoli will publish the book, which is set to be released on October 16, 2012 and sell for $55. A limited edition with a special still-undisclosed surprise will be available for $250.
Are you looking forward to Pharrell's new book?
After taking a few jabs at Wiz Khalifa late last year, Waka Flocka now insists that he has no beef with the rapper, just don't expect them to collaborate.
In a sit down with Angie Martinez for Hot 97, Waka's comments about Wiz "he's got "no swag" and is hype-ing his way to the top"
Flocka then said "I stated my opinion because it's true and it’s fact."
Angie asked if he would ever work with him but the Brick Squad rapper wasn't too keen on the idea.
"Negative. Negative. Negative," he said. "That's like me being a gangsta and then rapping about cookies and creams and lollipops. What you gon' call me? Nice guy or a sucka?"
Despite his reluctance to embrace Khalifa, Waka said he has cousins who like the Pittsburgh rapper and that his fans should support him as well.
Who's side are you on?
A Louisana judge ruled that a select few of the rapper's lyrics can be used against him.
Lil' Boosie, born Torrence Hatch, is accused of hiring Michael Louding, aka Marlo Mike, to kill Terry Boyd in 2009. Though he initially denied having any connection to Lil' Boosie, Louding later admitted his involvement in Boyd's murder to Baton Rouge authorities.
During the pre-trial hearing Michael Louding told detectives that Lil Boosie paid him $2,800 to commit the murder. But the facts of the crime were not the central focus of the hearing. Boosie's lyrics were.
His song, "187," in particular, is under a lot of scrutiny. Lil' Boosie recorded the controversial track with BG, another Louisiana rapper who has had his fair share of legal trouble. "Any niggaa who ever tried to play me, they dead now," Boosie raps in his first verse. The prosecution specifically noted the use of "187," "murk," and "cake" as slang terms commonly used to describe murder and money.
Although the song can not be played in its entirety, nor can any verse be read line by line, Judge Mike Erwin ruled that those three specific words can be used as evidence against Boosie.
Lil' Boosie is currently incarcerated in Angola, the largest correctional facility in the country. A vast majority of the inmates are serving life sentences. His lawyers are actively working to have their client transferred to East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.

Rapper Wiz Khalifa tried to hide a bag of weed in his room at a Holiday Inn in Nashville.

When officers arrived to the scene, Wiz tossed a "marijuana cigarette" out of the window.

Wiz was hit with a citation and probably smoked more weed after the officers left.

Just a while back Brian McKnight leaked out some x-rated pics for some attention that mediatakeout posted now he's putting out x-rated music
Brian McKnight released a song as part of what he called an "adult mixtape," which had an explicit song called "If you're ready to learn", but quickly took it down after widespread criticism.
In the song's video, which he posted to his Twitter and YouTube pages but has since deleted, McKnight explains the concept behind the freaky-deaky mixtape, and warns that it's NSFW, to say the least. He then begins to sing the song's shocking hook: "Let me show you how your pussy works. Bet you didn't know that it could squirt / I have lots of things to show you, if you're ready to learn."
The song quickly went viral, becoming a trending topic last night, and had the singer defending himself for several hours online. "Okay im taking it down and ill never do it again," McKnight tweeted. "I thought it was pretty clever ... it's just an experiment."
Nas is finally ready to welcome all of his fans to the good life. It's been four years since he released his last solo album "Untitled", but on July 17, the Queensbridge rapper will drop "Life Is Good" his 10th album.
Since his classic 1994 debut "Illmatic", Nas has stood as one of rap's premier artists. Though he has grown from a local New York prospect to a global icon, He has managed to stay true to his hip-hop roots. On last summer's single "Nasty," the much-revered MC rode atop a break-beat-inspired rap production that was reminiscent of rap's golden era of the late 1980s. The album's second official release, "The Don," follows a similar path and even features production from the late Heavy D, as well as Salaam Remi and Da Internz.
Before his July 17 release, Nas will drop another single. The No I.D-produced "Daughters" will drop on May 1, while the video for "The Don" is scheduled to premiere April 27.
So Jennifer Williams tries to clear things up and explain the situation?
"And the BS continues… I honestly could not stomach to watch last week’s episode. I had lived through the craziness and to relive it was just too much for me. But I would like to clarify a few things. First up, I never had an issue with “the assistant” up until that day. At one point, we were good friends. We went out together, went to dinner, stayed at each other’s houses and shared plenty of good times and laughs. There had been some incidents leading up to why I started pulling away from the friendship but I don’t feel the need to blast that information. However, the most important reason why I eased up on the friendship is because she started working for someone who refers to themselves as my “enemy.” To me being good friends would just cause the situation to be messy so I rather fall back. No love lost and I like I said, I didn’t have any issue with her until she put her hands on me.
Ok now let’s get to the foolery… AGAIN!!! I just find it so unfortunate someone I once called a friend has no respect for me and felt the need to violent me physically. So of course after you completely disrespect me by putting your hands on me, my mouth is going to get reckless. I am not happy for the things I said to her but I was caught off guard and left in a vulnerable state. The 2-bedroom apartment comment got taken way out of context. I live in a 2-bedroom apartment so why would I look down on her for that. My point was don’t act like I lived with you when you live in a 2 bedroom apartment with a roommate. There would be no room for me and all my stuff that barely fits in my 2-bedroom apartment in NJ. The whole attack against me was pointless. Okay, we aren’t friends no need to fight about it let’s all be mature adults and move on. People come into your life for a reason, season or a lifetime. I wish it didn’t have to be this way, it makes me sad but that is life.
I did what I felt was right by filing a police report and having my attorneys handling the situation. I am an entrepreneur and a mature adult. Who fights at this age? I was taught to let the authorities handle criminals. Having graduated with a degree in Political Science and a concentration in Pre-Law, I am fully aware of my legal rights and the justice system. If you put your hands on someone, there will be repercussions. End of story…
For the record, I have changed. I am striving to be an independent woman and I am building a future for myself. I have zero time or tolerance for BS. I am not sitting around waiting for a man to take care of me. Lucid is 100% mine; I built it from the ground up. No licensing deal or I am a paid spokes model. I don’t sit around and knock what my cast mates are trying to do business wise. Be a leader and not a follower, no one was thinking about the cosmetic industry until way after Lucid. At the end of the day, I find it all unfortunate that I am the constant topic when it comes to hate and no one can uplift one another. Fame has never been a weakness of mine but by watching this show I can’t say the same for all the ladies. I just hope everyone can recognize what is really important in this life because Basketball Wives will not always be the HOT thing… Then what???

T.I has been involved in his fair share of rap beef. From Lil' Flip to Ludacris to Shawty Lo, Tip has held his own against some pretty serious dudes, but when it comes to the attacks from rookie female MC Azealia Banks, the Trouble Man wants no part of it.
Banks took exception when T.I.'s new artist Iggy Azalea landed the 2012 XXL Freshman cover earlier this year. The Harlem rapper had no problem lashing out at Iggy via Twitter, and when Tip defended his new protégé on DJ Drama's radio show in March, Banks fired shots at the King too.
"Banks wasn't the only one who felt funny about it. It was a trending topic people felt so funny about it," Iggy told MTV News earlier this month about her inclusion on the Freshman list.
T.I., however, hasn't been so diplomatic in his response. "The fact that she's speaking up on me and mine, I didn't even see it," he said about Banks when he appeared on the "Tony Sculfield and the Morning Riot" radio show in Chicago on Monday morning (April 23). "That's bitch shit, I'ma man. You ain't got no business addressing me. Get your man to address me, if you got a man, get him to address me and he and I can speak on it."
It doesn't seem like Banks, whose video for her single "212" is fast approaching 12 million views on YouTube, has taken heed. "@tip T.i .... Please shut the fuck up about this. Like seriously quit it," she tweeted hours after the Grand Hustle CEO's interview aired.
Banks continued with a full-on Twitter rant. "@tip funny how you have plenty of time to address me but have nothing to say to the dudes who been calling u at as a snitch forever," she wrote. "@tip it's dead... The streets already know what kind of dude you are. Stop making yourself look softer by dragging this out."
She then proceeded to delete all of T.I.'s songs from her iTunes. "LMFAOO every time I delete a t.i. song from my iPad I imagine him dying in some bloody horror film like being eaten by a zombie," she wrote.
Doesn't she know T.I can end her career before it begins

Deion tells us he was in his bedroom when Pilar busted in and began "kicking, biting, and scratching" him in front of his sons. He says he merely defended himself until he was able to call police.
Deion tweeted, "Pray for me and my kids now! They just witnessed their mother and a friend jump me in my room. She's going to jail n I'm pressing charges!"
He continued ... "I'm sad my boys witnessed this mess but I warned the police department here that she was gone try n harm me and my boys."
